What C-Link Does

C-Link transforms organic waste streams into verified carbon removal and agricultural products through Terrestrial Storage. Our facilities process municipal biosolids, green waste, agricultural residues, and disaster debris—materials that traditionally create methane emissions, fire hazards, and disposal costs—and convert them into stable carbon storage and regenerative soil inputs.

Each ton of material processed generates independently verified Carbon Removal Certificates (CORCs) representing permanent CO2 removal, plus nutrient-rich growing media for agricultural markets. This dual-output model addresses converging needs in waste management, climate accountability, and soil regeneration.

The Technology: MicroSnap Process

C-Link's Terrestrial Storage utilizes MicroSnap's carbon preservation technology—an advanced microbial process that stabilizes organic carbon at ambient temperature through controlled biological activity.

Verified Performance Metrics:

Energy efficiency

Produces biochar-equivalent carbon storage using approximately one-tenth the energy of thermal pyrolysis

Mass retention

Preserves 95-97% of starting material mass, maximizing both carbon capture and product yield

Processing time

Completes stabilization in 14-60 days versus 6-12 months for traditional composting

Storage stability

Independently verified to 100-year permanence standards

Safety Advantages: Ambient-temperature processing eliminates fire risks inherent in thermal composting and pyrolysis operations. This reduces insurance costs and enables deployment in urban and suburban contexts where thermal operations face regulatory barriers.

Pathogen and Contaminant Elimination: Third-party testing confirms complete destruction of pathogens including fecal coliforms and salmonella. Recent testing demonstrates elimination of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) to below detection limits—addressing one of the most persistent environmental contaminants in biosolids and municipal waste streams.

Carbon Removal Verification

C-Link CORCs undergo independent third-party verification evaluating:

Feedstock sourcing and baseline emissions

Process lifecycle emissions and energy inputs

Carbon storage stability and permanence

Additionality and double-counting prevention

Certificates are validated on Puro.earth , which has been approved by the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM) as an Eligible Carbon Crediting Programme, meeting institutional buyer requirements for transparency, traceability, and compliance with emerging carbon accounting standards.

CORC Differentiation: Carbon removal certificates represent physical CO2 extracted from the atmosphere and stored long-term, distinct from avoidance-style offsets that prevent future emissions. This distinction matters increasingly as regulatory frameworks and corporate climate commitments require demonstrated removals rather than avoided emissions.
